In the modern era, we are surrounded by things which are
supposed to make “getting in shape” painless and easy. Everything from the sublime (“Change your
life with this simple exercise program”) to the ridiculous (“In just 3 minutes
of sitting on this piece of equipment, I’ve lost over 20lbs in 2 weeks!”). Ultimately, it appeals to us because we want
the results, but we don’t want to put in the effort.
Unfortunately, true fitness isn’t one magic exercise. It isn’t the newest fad, piece of equipment
or “breakthrough” programming. It
requires patience, it requires diligence, and it requires hard work - and all
of this without any sort of instant gratification.
What we hope to do through this site is offer some direction
– some insight that will help you to sift through the myriad of unclear,
incomplete, misrepresented and, in some cases, dangerous information that can
be found out there through articles, videos and direction.
